When we take off our socks after winter to show our feet, it often turns out that they do not look aesthetically pleasing. The problem is rough heels, ugly nails, dry skin and abrasions from uncomfortable shoes. You do not need an expensive visit to the beauty salon. All it takes is a few treatments at home to have beautiful feet.
Baths – Recommended once or twice a week. Soak your feet in a bowl of warm water mixed with one of the following ingredients:
- foot salt – relaxes and cares for tired feet
- baking soda – helpful in combating rough feet (just put one tablespoon of soda in a bowl)
- water after boiled potatoes – has a softening and nourishing effect on the skin
- 3-4 glasses of milk and 2 tablespoons of honey – heat the milk and dissolve the honey in it, then add warm water. Such a bath smoothes and nourishes the feet
- Olive oil – nourishes and moisturizes dry skin
- juice squeezed from 2 lemons, 4 tablespoons of olive oil and a teaspoon of cinnamon – the bath smoothes and reduces sweating
Peeling – you can use a ready-made peeling. If you want to make a scrub yourself, you need a spoonful of coarse sugar, a little olive oil or a spoonful of sugar, a spoonful of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon.
Grater do Stop – it is worth giving up the sharp pumice stone. The grater is gentler on the feet and helps to get rid of calloused skin. It is best to use the grater after soaking your feet in a warm bath.
Maski – it is worth replacing those bought with homemade masks, which often work better than ready-made ones.
- mash a large banana and add one tablespoon of natural homogenized cheese to it. Apply the mask for 15 minutes and rinse.
- peel two boiled potatoes in their jackets and mash them with a fork. Then we add the egg yolk and put the prepared slurry on the feet and wrap it with foil
- a little more than a glass of milk should be boiled, after removing it from the burner, add oatmeal to the milk, wait a few minutes, strain it, put it on your feet and wrap it in foil
creams do Stop – after applying a mask or a bath, you must not forget to apply a suitable cream to your feet. For rough feet, creams with urea in a composition that has a softening effect are the best. Vitamin A ointment has a similar effect. However, it is very greasy, so after applying it, it is best to wait a dozen or so minutes, put on cotton socks. A proven way is also to wrap the feet with cling film and put on warm, pressure-free socks. In this way, the skin of the feet will absorb more nutrients, and the effects of our care will be faster and more visible.
In the care, not only of the feet, you should remember about regularity. Only treatments performed at regular intervals will bring visible results. That is why it is worth being patient, and we will certainly be satisfied with the results and we will show our feet to the world without any problems.
