Coffee has long been known for its side effects. First, its regular use can be addictive – the vegetative system simply refuses to work without caffeine. Secondly, the drink contributes to a number of negative effects – yellow teeth, insomnia, gastritis and a number of others.
However, all this does not stop fans to cheer up: about two and a half billion cups are drunk every day in the world. Opponents of “addiction” decided to strike one more blow – this time an aesthetic one.
A group of doctors from the University of Lund (Lunds universitet), led by Helena Jernström, examined 270 young women who regularly drink coffee for possible neutralization of the cancer threat. The fact is that in the course of previous studies, a relationship was found between the size of the bust and an increased risk of breast cancer, as well as a very rare heart cancer. At the same time, scientists have found that three cups of coffee a day increase the chances of avoiding these dangerous diseases.
