Apart from research and articles about the possible harmfulness of these substances, the fact is that such a replacement significantly reduces the caloric content of the product. This, in turn, has a significant impact on maintaining a healthy body weight. The original product may contribute to gaining weight, while the light product will not have such a strong impact on adding new pounds. So sometimes it’s worth choosing products and “light”, tooespecially when on a diet.

Another example in the same category is chocolate. Although all sugars in some chocolates are converted to sweeteners, such chocolate does not immediately become a low-calorie product. In this case, “light” tells us only about this basic change, and the product itself is dedicated more to diabetics than to people on a diet.

Attention in stores!

Slimming and a diet with light products are possible, but you have to be extremely vigilant when shopping. It is worth paying attention to such and similar nuances when choosing a product with a label in a store or restaurant and “light”, too – always read the ingredient labels attached to the products. Not always what is marked as light will be really suitable for all people who care about their shape and health.
