On October 27, the SKOLKOVO School of Management held a presentation of the SKOLKOVO Executive MBA (EMBA) program.
Program Director Vyacheslav Grigoriev spoke about what EMBA training consists of and how the program helps business leaders meet emerging challenges.
SKOLKOVO Executive MBA is one of the flagship diploma programs of the SKOLKOVO school. Its listeners are top managers and business owners who have already managed to gain managerial experience and are looking for ways to further develop. EMBA helps to determine not only the future of the company, but also to determine the vectors of personal growth for leaders. Over the years of its work, the SKOLKOVO School has managed to train more than 30 Executive MBA streams, each of which has an average of 40-50 students.
The program lasts 18 months, takes place in a hybrid format with live and online meetings, and is divided into modules. During the training, students are waiting for lectures by professors, analysis of live cases, consulting from experts, group work on tasks.
Students will work with strategizing and risk management, learn the intricacies of customer experience and building effective communications, discover the possibilities of new regions – set hypotheses and test interesting markets.
“We recruit owners and leaders into this program and help them sort out what they see as challenges and equip them with ways to think about those challenges. There are, of course, aspects that change: markets collapse – new ones open up, some opportunities collapse – others open up. One of the blocks of the program is about understanding what is actually happening. And it is about understanding, not informing. What is behind these changes? Through cases, through inviting experts, through understanding the practices in the program, we discuss this,” Vyacheslav Grigoriev told the participants of the event.
The new SKOLKOVO Executive MBA stream starts on December 7th. You can read more about the program, get advice and register for training on the website.
