The skin of a baby is extremely delicate, so it is not difficult to get nappy rash. We should prevent them, especially since such a small child does not yet have a mature immune system, and thus it is easy to get infected.

The most common cause of diaper rash is leaving the baby in a wet, dirty diaper. The consequences are so dangerous that they can lead to diaper rash.

Where did these rashes come from?

It’s not just a wet diaper that can cause diaper rash. Equally dangerous effects come from a poorly rinsed tetra diaper made of washing powder. Sometimes chafing is caused by mistakes in hygiene or hot temperatures. In this case, the baby’s skin under the diaper sweats and does not breathe enough. Sometimes, as a result of vaccinations, introduced novelties in food or antibiotics, there are changes in the composition of the stool, which has a bad effect on the baby’s delicate skin.

How to recognize diaper dermatitis?

Irritation caused by diaper dermatitis covers the entire buttocks, where there are painful and constantly growing pustules, and the skin becomes hot and scaly. The pain that a baby feels is comparable to sunburn. In addition, the child suffers from a lack of appetite and problems with falling asleep, which is why he is crying.

How to treat burns? What will help with diaper dermatitis?

In the case of already existing nappy rash or diaper dermatitis, it is not enough to follow the rules of proper hygiene and skin care. If we have not treated redness, which seemed to us to be nothing serious, we can expect erythema to occur, as well as minor blemishes. In this case, we should let the baby’s butt breathe, as often as possible without a diaper and use a protective cream. It is not without significance that you wash the baby’s bottom using boiled water. Sometimes it turns out that home care is not enough, although it facilitates the healing of sores. The only thing left for us to do is visit a pediatrician with the child, who will most likely prescribe an antibiotic.
