Skazka salad – table decoration
When you want to treat your friends with something tasty, you can prepare a delicate and juicy Fairy Tale salad. It contains a variety of vegetables, meats and mushrooms, making it an incredibly satisfying dish. Like most Russian salads, it can also be prepared in a variety of ways.
A simple recipe for Skazka salad
Ingredients: – 350 g of chicken fillet; – 3 chicken eggs; – 200 g of mushrooms; – 1 head of onion; – 1 carrot; – 150 g of mayonnaise; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil; – 3 green onion feathers.
Boil carrots and chicken fillets in salted water until tender and cool. Then cut into thin strips. Hard boil the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Wash the mushrooms, peel and cut into thin cubes. Chop the onions and fry in vegetable oil for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms to it and simmer until all the liquid has evaporated. Add a little salt at the end.
Put the food in a salad bowl in the following sequence: chicken fillet, carrots, fried mushrooms with onions, grated proteins, chopped green onions and crumbled yolks. Lubricate each layer, except the last, with mayonnaise. Put the prepared salad in the refrigerator for several hours to soak it.
This salad can also be stacked in layers in glass bowls or bowls and served separately to each guest. It will turn out spectacularly and beautifully
Skazka salad with cheese and walnuts
Ingredients: – 400 g of mushrooms; – 100 g of hard cheese; – 3 eggs; – 500 g of chicken fillet; – onion; – 3 cloves of garlic; – 2 medium-sized potatoes; – 1 carrot; – 70 g of peeled walnuts; – 350 g mayonnaise; – 50 g sour cream; – vegetable oil for frying; – salt to taste; – parsley for decoration.
Boil chicken fillet, carrots and potatoes until tender and cool. Divide the meat into medium-sized fibers, peel the potatoes and carrots. Boil the eggs hard-boiled, pass the garlic through a press, and chop the onion.
To get rid of the bitterness of the onion, pour boiling water over it for a few minutes, then drain the water, and dry the onion on a napkin.
Wash the mushrooms, peel and cut into thin pieces. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil until moisture is gone. Then place on a paper towel lined plate to remove excess grease.
Lay the ingredients in layers on a flat dish, observing the following sequence: chicken with garlic, grated potatoes, onions with black pepper, mushrooms, grated eggs, carrots, grated cheese. Grease each layer with mayonnaise and sour cream sauce and add a little. Sprinkle the finished salad with chopped walnuts, garnish with parsley and refrigerate for several hours.
