Vaccinating children against COVID-19 is still a controversial issue. Not only from anti-vaccines, but also from those who think it is too risky and perhaps unnecessary at all. Research on the effectiveness of the vaccine for children under 12 has begun in Poland.
- Is it safe to vaccinate children? Internet users have doubts
- Information about the vaccination of six-year-old Zosia as part of Pfizer’s research caused a wave of negative comments on the network

Six-year-old Zosia was vaccinated first. This was reported on Twitter by Elżbieta Brzozowska, vice-president of the Coalition for a Premature Foundation and Fundacja Zdrowie i Edukacja Ad Meritum. The web has gone wild and some of the comments are really strong.
Pfizer is researching a vaccine in Poland. Internet users comment
«Today Zosia, 6 years old, received an mRNA vaccine as part of a Pfizer clinical trial. We protect Zosia’s health and contribute to the fight against the pandemic – thanks to the children participating in the study, the vaccine will be registered and made available to children all over the world! » – wrote Elżbieta Brzozowska on Twitter.
Under the entry, there were (mostly) negative comments from Internet users who claim that this is an experiment on children and should not take place. They believe, among other things, that it is making a “guinea pig out of a baby” and “an experiment, not a study”.
- In Poland, 22 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have already been administered
«For vaccinating a 6-year-old CHILD with an experimental preparation of a company with such a pathological, corrupt past, parental rights should be withdrawn. This is extreme irresponsibility and stupidity. » One of the commentators wrote. And another added that «So far, the data on the course of the pandemic among children do not in any way justify what you do to these children.»There were also stronger entries, e.g.
Such children will have to be given bricks, but for the tomb. What you are administering to your children is not a vaccine, but a medical preparation in the testing phase. This is a medical experiment.
I hope that those responsible for medical experiments on Polish children (only four countries in the world) will be prosecuted
Pfizer vaccine tests. The Government Information Center replies
Among the statements approving the vaccination of the girl as part of clinical trials, there were such opinions as: «If people had not chosen to have their children participate in clinical trials, there would not be any medicines for children that would be approved for sale. Someone has to take the drug / vaccine first. »
- «I will not vaccinate my son. At work, they treat me like air »
However, there were very few positive comments, and the most staunch opponents of the study were not convinced. The Government Information Center, which runs the # SzczepimySię profile on Twitter, also commented on the matter. The comment reads: «The use of any approved drug in accordance with the SPC cannot be a medical experiment! Safety, effectiveness and quality have been confirmed in the registration process. »
