Sinus metaphene – symptoms of the disease

What is the role of sinuses in the body? First of all, they should purify, heat and ventilate the air we breathe. The purified air then enters the throat and lungs in turn, but it should not irritate the mucosa of our respiratory system. In a situation where the sinus canals are clogged, it is not possible to properly clean the air, as well as the sinuses themselves. In such a situation, mucus is produced, which turns into a purulent discharge, because it is an ideal medium for any bacteria or viruses. Untreated sinusitis can lead to chronic disease, changes in the lining of the sinuses are irreversible, and the disease can come back frequently in an altered form, such as allergies or bronchitis. In the case of a disease that lasts more than twelve days, over-the-counter drugs may turn out to be ineffective, so in a chronic condition you should be under the constant care of an ENT doctor.
