1. Have you planted a greasy stain on the upholstery of the sofa or on the wallpaper? Sprinkle the area with salt and crushed chalk and let the powder sit for a couple of minutes to absorb the grease. Then gently wipe the affected area with a soft, damp cloth.

2. Do you want to freshen up the old upholstery of the armchairs or get rid of the unpleasant smell of the sofa? Pour vodka into a spray bottle, treat the surface and let dry. It will help one hundred percent.

3. If your baby or kitten suddenly vomits on a chair, sofa or rug, make a thick paste of water and baking soda and apply it to the problem area and leave to dry completely. Then go over the former spot with a vacuum cleaner – not even a smell remains.

4. To quickly pick up your four-legged friend’s fur from the sofa, run a rubber window squeegee over the surface of the sofa. The same goes for carpet.

5. Another option for getting rid of wool is the sticky side of the tape. With Velcro, you can also clean the fabric lampshade.

6. Leather furniture will be saved by shoe cream: treat the upholstery with cream in color and let it dry – all scuffs will disappear. But this method is only suitable for dark colors: you cannot save white and beige furniture with cream.

7. A mixture of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar can help remove stubborn stains from carpet. Soak a cloth with this liquid, place it on the stain and iron it with an iron, preferably with steam. If the stain persists, repeat the procedure.

Dishwashers need washing too

8. Washing the glassware will lighten the piece of foil: crumple it up, add a little detergent, and rub the glasses and glasses vigorously inside and out.

12. With the oven, we do it even easier: before cooking fatty foods, drip deodorized vegetable oil on a cotton swab and wipe the walls inside the oven. After frying, all greasy splashes can be removed without any problems with a simple wipe.

13. An onion that has been cut in half will help to clean the grill grate: take a half and slide it over the grate. But keep in mind that this method is only suitable for fresh dirt.

14. Dishwashers also need washing. Place a small cup of vinegar in the top compartment of the dishwasher, add baking soda to the bottom and press the On button. The dishwasher will be like new.

15. To quickly clean the coffee maker, pour mixed equal parts of vinegar and water inside. Turn on the brewing cycle, turn off halfway through cooking and repeat this process again. When you’re done boiling the vinegar, run 2 cycles with clean water.

16. Love making cocktails but don’t feel like cleaning your blender? There is a way to make this process easier too: pour warm water inside the blender, drip a little detergent and turn on the blender for a few seconds. Drain the soapy water, rinse, done!

17. To sanitize a kitchen sponge, microwave it for 2 minutes, this will kill 99% of germs.
