SI prefixes – these are prefixes that are added before the names of units of measurement of physical quantities in order to form new multiples or submultiples. For this, a certain decimal factor is used – the number 10 raised to one degree or another.
The tables below show the submultiple and multiple SI prefixes: their names, designations, names and values of decimal factors, as well as examples for a better understanding.

The units given are greater than the base units in 10n times where n – a certain degree.
