Chrysanthemums are those flowers that bloom when others have already faded. Among the variety of varieties and colors, pink chrysanthemums remain the most delicate and attractive.
Varieties of pink spray chrysanthemums
Shrub chrysanthemums are plants whose height ranges from 15 cm to 1,5 m. There are many varieties of this flower in nature, one variety can contain inflorescences of different shades.
Pink chrysanthemums – a bright and attractive spot in the autumn garden
Pink flowers can be seen in these varieties:
- “Bacardi” and “Baltika rozovaya” have tall strong stems and large flowers. These varieties are ideal for creating large bouquets;
- “Optimist” and “Alyonushka” give simple, non-double inflorescences that look like chamomile;
- Mona Lisa. Pink-lilac flowers about 7 cm in diameter bloom on its high stem. The central part of the inflorescence is green;
- “Primzvara” has a rounded shape, inflorescences of pale pink color, about 11 cm in diameter;
- “Lolipop” is a semi-double representative of chrysanthemums, with thick petals that hide the middle of the flower;
- “Malchish-Kibalchish” is a voluminous, but low green bush with simple pink inflorescences;
- “Lelia” is a short bush with bright inflorescences of a dark pink hue.
There are other types of chrysanthemums. Each variety has individual characteristics, but all inflorescences have incredible beauty and unique aroma.
Description of the chrysanthemum variety “Pink Flamingo”
Speaking of pink chrysanthemums, one cannot ignore the Pink Flamingo hybrid. This plant is a shrub up to 65 cm high. It has a developed root system, strong stems and dense green foliage.
During flowering, which lasts from late September to late October, the bush is covered with flat and large double flowers up to 9 cm in diameter. They look like large pink daisies. More than 100 inflorescences are formed on one shrub.
Abundant flowering is the main advantage of the variety.
“Pink Flamingo” is not afraid of frost, it can be grown in regions with harsh climatic conditions. It decorates the garden area before the onset of frost. This hybrid is used as landscaping and for cutting. Cut flowers do not lose their attractiveness, shape and freshness for a long time.
In order to appreciate all the advantages and beauty of chrysanthemums, it is enough to grow them in the garden once. It is this autumn flower that will delight the eye of the grower for a long time and accompany the summer with it.
