Shostakowski’s balm, or Vinilium, is a liquid used for problems with difficult to heal wounds or even stomach ulcers. For years, it has been used for various skin problems, including problems located in hard-to-reach places such as the mucosa of the digestive system. The fluid can also be used on bedsores in people who are immobilized or are in a coma for a long time. In addition to its therapeutic effect on the skin and mucous membranes, it protects against cold, heat and even sun rays.
Shostakowski’s balm – application
Shostakowski’s balm is used primarily in the care of the epidermis, skin and mucous membranes. The ingredient of the lotion, i.e. polyvinyl butyl ether, is a viscous, thick liquid with a pale yellow color that does not dissolve in water. Thanks to this, it is completely safe and non-toxic, because as a compound that has large particles, it does not penetrate into the body cells or mucous membranes, but only stimulates granulation tissue, accelerates tissue regeneration, and also protects and protects.
Originally, Shostakowski’s balm was used as a remedy for all ailments during World War II. It was used both for wounds inflicted during combat, as well as for frostbite or burns. It was very cheap and had a very simple recipe, and its consistency did not change under various weather conditions.
Indications and contraindications
First of all, Szostakowski’s balm can be used in the care of epidermis that has been damaged, rubbed or is exposed to long-term pressure, e.g. in immobilized people. It can also be used as a skin care agent for thermal burns, frostbites and radiation burns. Works well in the treatment of ulcers.
Unfortunately, Shostakowski’s balm cannot be used by everyone. First of all, it is not recommended for use in children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. But also in people who are allergic to the ingredients of the lotion.
Shostakowski’s balm – what are his opinions?
Szostakowski’s balm can be applied to the skin as needed. After lubricating the affected area, it is enough to apply a gauze dressing. However, it is also effective when used internally in dysentery, duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, heartburn, reflux, gastritis, and even hyperacidity. Szostakowski’s balm also has good opinions as a remedy for rectal varices, which, unfortunately, can rupture, causing pain, and the balm soothes their condition and prevents infections.
Shostakowski’s balm – price and where to buy?
Szostakowski’s balm is available in pharmacies without a prescription. The price of Szostakowski’s balm does not exceed PLN 30 per 100 g of liquid. The product can also be found under the name Vinilium and is produced by the Eljot company.
There are substitutes based on Shostakowski’s balm with additional ingredients, which can also be purchased at a pharmacy without a prescription at a similar price as the original balm based on Dr. Szostakowski’s recipe.
