The whole world is watching the situation in Italy – this sunny and cheerful country fell to the enemy called “coronavirus”. Hundreds of new victims are reported daily by the media.

Italian companies help their compatriots in every way they can. Fashion brands, for example, sew protective masks and, of course, donate any amount – to help victims, to support doctors who now work around the clock.

Representatives of Geox Group did not stay away from the common trouble. President of the company Mario Moretti Polegato and his son Enrico donated 1 million euros to support their home region of Veneto.

“In this historic moment of urgency in Italy and Veneto, we have a responsibility to support our doctors and nurses, who are on the front lines every day, in the fight against an invisible but terrible enemy that makes us all equal, vulnerable and helpless. With this donation, we want to express our closeness and support to all the people who are suffering and fighting the virus and their families. We must stand firm and strictly abide by the necessary measures. Only in this way can we overcome this disease and return to our former life. We are facing a serious crisis, but I am confident that we will rise and become even stronger, ”- reads the address of Mario Moretti Polegato.
