After the medics made the decision to notify the family of an unfortunate event, Ruby Graupera-Cassimir regained her pulse and returned to her loved ones after she had been dead for 45 minutes.

Immediately after the successful cesarean surgery, the new mom began to experience increasing breathing problems. As a result of worsening breathlessness, the 40-year-old woman lost her strength completely, and then – as she remembers – she fell asleep. It was not, however, a dream in the classical sense of the word. The woman’s pulse began to weaken. The alarmed doctors took Graupere-Cassimir to the operating room and began the rescue operation. After unsuccessful resuscitation and electroconvulsions, the medics gave up their efforts and decided to announce the sad news to the family. To the surprise of the witnesses of the event, the woman regained her pulse and her heart started to work properly.
