Seven liters of water a day is drunk by a young woman in Tuscany who was mistakenly vaccinated with four doses of Pfizer against COVID-19. Initially, it was reported that she had received six doses, but then the medical staff determined that there were two fewer doses.

Mistake when vaccinating against COVID-19

The error occurred in a hospital in the Italian city of Massa, where a 23-year-old graduate of clinical psychology, now in internship, received most of the contents of a vaccine vial instead of one dose.

The medical staff realized immediately that he was wrong and kept the woman under observation. She had no serious side effects from a vaccine overdose and was discharged home.

After a few days, it turned out that the young Italian woman drinks seven liters of water a day and is still dehydrated. Doctors and experts are to answer the question of whether this is the effect of the four doses. The woman is being examined.

The case, reported in the media, was investigated by the famous virologist, Professor Fabrizio Pregliasco, reported the daily Il Messaggero.

According to one of the hypotheses of specialists, an overdose of the preparation may lead to the body not producing antibodies at all, and therefore the vaccination will have to be repeated.

The woman decided not to bring a lawsuit against the nurse and doctor who had vaccinated her. However, it does not exclude the possibility of taking legal action against the hospital, if it turns out that the consequences of an overdose are serious.

According to Professor Pregliasco, there is no such high risk.
