Who said that the base of smoky eyes is only black? The new creative director of makeup at Estee Lauder Tom Pesho suggests diversifying the classic Make up with blue and lilac shades. The maestro embodied his ideas in the new Blue Dahlia collection.
The Blue Dahlia Pure Color Collection is the first collection created by Tom Peschaux for Estee Lauder. Thanks to her, dramatic smoky eyes can now be natural, avant-garde and even bully. To do this, according to the maestro, you just need to add color.
A delicate shade of blue or deep blue from the Blue Dahlia palette, an incredible range of lilac shades, intertwined with soft grays from the Surreal Violet palette, will allow you to create any, even the most daring makeup. By mixing different shades and textures, you can easily vary the intensity of any eye shadow and lipstick color.
The new collection looks like a work of art, and perhaps that’s why it inspires shyness. Will it be possible to do http://wday.ru/beauty/jenciklopedija-krasoty/Makijazh/top-5variantov-svadebnogo-makiyazha/ independently, using such bright shades? Are rich lilac and blue colors suitable for skin type and tone? However, in order not to suffer from doubts, we asked all the exciting questions to Mr. Pesho himself.

What was the inspiration for the Blue Dahlia fall makeup collection?
I wanted to revive the classic smokey eyes. I decided to add a trendy accent to this makeup in the form of a rich blue hue.
Tell us about the new Pure Color eyeshadow palettes?
This is a color game. With them, a woman can create any image: daytime or evening, natural, almost imperceptible or bright, extravagant. Even a subtle shade of blue or lilac can add a unique style to an image. Bright shades in makeup are not only a tribute to fashion, with them your face literally glows!
Your favorites in the Blue Dahlia collection?
Definitely a Pure Color Five Color Palette from the Blue Dahlia palette. For me, as a makeup artist, the main value of this product is that it contains as many as five actual shades of shadows that can be mixed, thereby creating different images.
My main favorite is black, because it is he who can convey a rich palette of images: sexuality, sensuality, passion, glamor and sophistication. And, of course, blue. The latter adds a trendy accent to the black.
Are rich lilac and blue colors suitable for skin type and tone?
When I work on fashion shows, we create makeup for 30 girls from different countries, with different skin types, eye shapes and different facial contours. And the make-up always turns out to be individual. This is what women should remember. It’s the same with the new Blue Dahlia collection. For example, the image for the advertising image with Hilary Rhoda was created taking into account her individual characteristics. If it were a different girl, I would probably add more blue than black, make the image more saturated or, conversely, less bright.
Will you be able to do beautiful makeup yourself using such bright shades?
The main thing is not to be afraid to mix shades. If pure blue doesn’t suit you, you should mix it with black. If you feel uncomfortable with black on your eyelids, apply more blue and highlight your lashes with black mascara. Just play with color. There are no rules in this addicting game!
