– Of course, it is very important. After all, you are buying a crib for more than one year. Beech has a much longer service life than birch. Birch is considered a material of a lower class than beech, it is softer and therefore not as strong. Some other manufacturers use veneer or plywood for the manufacture of cribs – these materials can hardly be called a good option either.
– In no case should the paint smell, and its composition should not contain chemical compounds that evaporate into the atmosphere. Otherwise, the baby may develop allergies, mucosal irritation and other health problems. We cover our beds only with Italian-made hypoallergenic water-based paint.
– It is best to buy an orthopedic mattress with a hard filler. The mattress should not only be comfortable, but also form the correct posture and promote healthy sleep. You need to pay attention to the filler. For example, hallcon is an environmentally friendly innovative material, which contains no harmful additives, and is very comfortable for sleeping. Natural latex is a hypoallergenic, durable, resilient material with antibacterial properties. Coconut coir is a tough natural material that is well ventilated and moisture permeable. Coira is not susceptible to decay and mold, even if it gets wet. Personally, I advise you to take hallcon-coconut-latex – this is the best option in terms of quality and price. The right mattress should fit the crib perfectly. Too large or small mattress creates inconvenience, and all its orthopedic qualities become useless. Also, I do not advise you to take transforming mattresses. The joints of such mattresses can be very harmful to the health of the baby. Pediatricians still advise taking double-sided mattresses and not saving.
– Bumpers, on the contrary, serve as protection for the baby from sudden bruises. They also protect against drafts and too bright sunlight, creating a comfortable environment for restful sleep. But it is very important to use the right material – the filler for the sides. In no case should you buy bumpers with foam rubber – this is a very heavy and non-breathable material, it can cause allergies in a child. Better to buy with hypoallergenic aero-fluff or synthetic winterizer. Only high quality aero duff is used in our bumpers. Of course, dust collects on any surface, so it is advisable to wash or at least rinse them every few weeks.
– At first, you simply cannot do without a set of waterproof mattress covers, because the “child’s surprise” during the growing up of a child is a natural factor. And these mattress toppers will save you not only time, but also nerves with regular cleaning. The pendulum is also a very useful acquisition – it imitates the swing in the mother’s arms. I would also recommend buying a sturdy canopy holder if you want to decorate your baby bed with a beautiful curtain-veil. But this is optional. And if finances permit, it is better to take additional sheets and a couple of bedding sets.
– Many factors influence the price. For example, you can order ordinary bedding with a minimum set of jewelry for 3000-5000 rubles, or you can buy designer bedding, which is sewn in several copies by hand and decorated with lace, pearls, silk bows and other materials. Naturally, its price will be much higher. But in fact, the most important thing to consider when choosing bedding is hypoallergenic. I advise you to take linen only from natural 100% cotton, it does not cause allergies and irritation on the skin, because it is a natural fabric of plant origin. Bed linen made of cotton is good for air permeability, absorbs moisture, allows the skin to breathe, and this guarantees a healthy and proper sleep. Also, baby clothes often have to be washed, so cotton bedding is ideal for long-term use. This fabric is durable, easily withstands multiple washes, while retaining its original color and shape. You do not have to worry about losing the appearance and beauty of such bedding.
– The world strives for versatility and mobility, the old versions of cribs are already a thing of the past, because not only our environment is changing, but we ourselves are changing. First, elliptical transforming beds grow with your little one – from a cradle to a full-fledged crib. In a cozy round cradle, reminiscent of a mother’s tummy, the newborn will feel good and calm. Secondly, the rounded shape of the crib will have a positive emotional impact and provide additional safety for the baby.
