The portal pody diplie.pl provided data obtained from the Ministry of Health on SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections in medical personnel. So far, the ministry only once, in April, reported that every sixth person infected with the coronavirus at that time is a medical worker. Now, more detailed data has emerged.
- The Ministry of Health announced that seven doctors have died in Poland due to COVID-19. 986 have so far been infected with the coronavirus
- Among the nurses, 18495 were in quarantine, and 2393 were infected with the coronavirus. Six of them died from COVID-19

The podyśmie.pl website published data obtained from the Ministry of Health on SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections among medical personnel – doctors, nurses and midwives. From the beginning of the pandemic until September 14, 2020, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 986 doctors, 2393 nurses and 212 midwives. In total, 8881 doctors, 18495 nurses and 1644 midwives were in quarantine.
For the first time, it was also possible to obtain information about deaths due to COVID-19 among doctors. The Ministry of Health said there have been seven deaths among doctors so far. There were six deaths among nurses and zero in the case of midwives.
So far, 194 doctors, 389 nurses and 27 midwives have been hospitalized.

So far, 2 people in Poland have contracted the SARS-CoV-81 coronavirus, and 673 patients have died from COVID-19. 2 people recovered.
