It intervened 7 times last night in connection with the suspicion of poisoning with legal highs, the Provincial Crisis Management Center reported on Friday. In total, there were 346 such interventions during the last week.
On Thursday, during the day, the ambulance service intervened 5 times in relation to such cases.
Slightly different data – for a longer period – is provided by the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Katowice. From 3 to 15 July, the Silesian Sanepid received reports of 597 suspected drug poisoning. 434 people were hospitalized.
33 NPS victims remain in hospitals on Friday, 5 of whom are in a serious condition.
As part of the action against the traffickers of designer drugs, the policemen stopped in the last days in the province. Śląskie 13 people, some of them, however – so far – have the status of witnesses. Three of the detained were arrested.
