This product is lighter than a cream, but denser than a serum and less concentrated. The texture is similar to a water-based lotion or fluid with minimal (or no) oils. The purpose of the emulsion is active hydration without a nourishing function. If your skin is dehydrated or doesn’t handle heavy textures well, this is the product for you.
Apply the emulsion after the serum as an additional moisturizing factor, and on top – a cream or sunscreen. Korean women apply funds from this category generously, distributing them over the face with their fingers.
Matting emulsion Effaclar Mat, La Roche-Posay oily skin will love it. The product has a light texture, regulates the production of sebum and moisturizes, visibly narrowing the pores.
What is essence
No self-respecting Korean girl can do without this product. The texture of the essence is a very light gel or jelly, applied to the face with your hands – no cotton pads.

Application sequence
According to the rules of multi-stage care, you need to start with the lightest product, and finish with the most dense one. If you want to incorporate serum, essence, and emulsion into your beauty routine, proceed as follows:
cleanse your face of makeup and impurities;
complete cleansing by treating the skin with a tonic or lotion;
apply the essence and let it absorb;
distribute a few drops of serum for concentrated care on the face;
then use the emulsion.
The final chord is a moisturizing, nourishing or matting cream, depending on the type of skin.
