Some of the books won literary awards — at the end of 2008, the collection «Semi-Clever Poems» by Alexander Zhorin won the All-Russian Competition for Children’s and Youth Literature «Scarlet Sails». And the new book by Sergei Silin includes humorous stories about the schoolboy Petya (“From the Life of Oklahoma”), parodies of children’s horror stories and other funny stories (“Stop chewing on the railing!”).
