Sepia & Blues in Benicassim

The cuttlefish and the sepionet will be the protagonists for two weeks, along with the best guitars, in the Castellón municipality of Benicássim.

From next June 5 to June 14, visitors to the municipality will be able to taste dishes, tapas and portions based on the main ingredient, object of the event, La Sepia or Sepionet in the catering establishments attached to the contest.

El Gastronomic event, is organized by the Benicássim Hospitality Entrepreneurs Association (Ehosde), in collaboration with the local council, to help disseminate and disseminate, the exquisite raw material of the cephalopods of its coasts as well as to collaborate to promote consumption in the establishments of hostelry of Benicassim.

It will be, in this second edition, more than 40 establishments that will participate in the conference, that this edition will share the poster with the IV Benicàssim Blues Festival, thus uniting music with gastronomy in a unique setting to anticipate the arrival of summer, eating, and enjoying the best blues.

The participating establishments offering their culinary creations are located both in the urban area of ​​the “town” as well as in the beach areas.

Menus can be tasted with fixed prices based on Sepia or sepionet, Tapas and snacks that together with the drink will not exceed € 2 and as a novelty, special drink combinations will be made at € 5, prepared on the occasion of the celebration of the conference.

The Mediterranean Blues Festival.

The best “blues” music, which we translate as “sadness”, arrives on the seashore with a cast of participants who ensure concerts full of feeling and musical art.

Within the festival’s program of activities, a guitar master class will be given by Diego García “El Twanguero”, which together with the exhibition of blues engravings and the conference dedicated to the Ladies of the Blues,  It will be the ideal musical complement to accompany lunches, lunches and dinners with Sepia or Sepionet, which we can enjoy on those days in the Mediterranean municipality.

The town’s taverns and locals on the beach are already preparing their creations, to show that the blues with good food is not sadness but a luxury
