Sensory didactic games in the second younger group: early age
Sensory didactic games are aimed at fine motor skills of the fingers and the development of the child’s cognitive functions. Speech and mental development depend on how well the baby “owns” the pens.
Activities for an early age
Already the first “feeling” of the rattle helps the baby to recognize this new world for him. The more actively he “squeezes” various objects, the earlier he will begin to speak. This can be facilitated by giving the baby a sense of new objects.
Later in the child’s life, simple pyramids and balls of different sizes will appear. It is good if they are textured – with rubber needles to enhance sensations.
The first group in kindergarten is already mastering more complex games. Similar activities can be done with your child at home. Self-made devices from scrap materials will be used.
Development of tactile sensations
Make several identical pouches out of brightly colored fabrics. Pour a different type of cereal into each of them. One will be with millet, 3 – with beans, 2 – with peas, 2 – with semolina, etc. Instruct the little one to find identical bags by touch. In the process of searching, the palms receive an additional massage. In this game you can learn how to compare bags by weight and size.
Working with buttons offers many different possibilities. They differ in shape, size and color. For babies, it’s best to sew different buttons on the pillow. Let him touch them and study the colors. Older children can operate with a set in a box. Sewing accessories allow:
- compare buttons by size and color;
- pick up different buttons and arrange them in boxes;
- make a chain out of round objects in a given order;
- learn how to fasten and unfasten the loops.
The last action can be done not only on clothes, but also cut out a special “simulator” from cardboard in the form of a tree. Sewing buttons to the crown, you can “fasten” the loops attached to toy apples or pears.
Classes in the second junior group
Group 2 includes children from 3 years old. They can be entrusted with more important tasks. The application will help the child to master the technique of working with paper. You can make a “live” picture of falling leaves. First, the kid sticks the leaves on the tree, and then tears them off the tree and sticks them on the ground or “in the air.” You need to discuss the season with the children, ask them to tell them about the weather and events of this season.
The development of fine motor skills is necessary at any age, but it is especially important for children. You can learn many concepts using thematic applications or homemade toys.
