Semana Foodie con foodtrucks | Food Service Magazine

The Foodie Week Viña Albali, returns to Madrid this week to make you feel like in Tokyo or New York, without leaving the capital.

The world of street food is once again adorned with the celebration of a new week of the street food, in the figure of the event sponsored by the Viña Albali wine brand.

It will be, 6 days of streetfood, from Tuesday 24 to 29 January in the Plaza de Castilla, a point of reference for the stop of the food trucks that like to park next to good wine.

Just below the famous sloping towers of the Madrid square, the gourmet parking lot in the north will be established again, where the foodtrucks will offer pedestrians and people who get off or access the transport interchange, the best of the food and drink convoy.

This is the second edition of the foodie week, En of streetfood version, and as in the first edition of Viña Albali foodie week, the gastronomic spaces of sweet or salty food will be installed under the shelter of the food trucks parked under the umbrella of the towers of the Madrid skyline.

The international proposals of fast good o gourmet coexist among the more than fifteen gastronomic proposals that make up the caravan, and that can be tasted and paired with soft drinks, craft beers or any of the wine references of the Viña Albali brand.

The only urban food market in a covered space in Madrid

Within the crowded area, and after the success of the first edition, they will repeat some of the foodtrucks most recognized on the current scene, such as:

  • Lapatecible Urvan, with its specialty in Angus beef and assorted skewers.
  • The Mexican Land, with its tacos de suadero or chili con carne,
  • The Briche by Javier Brichetto and his fusion food
  • SuPiadina and its piadinas, seafood pintxos or the delicious New York Pastrami.

Together with them, we will be able to see other food trucks such as:

  • The 2 Cows for dessert some organic yoghurts.
  • Zanuy, and its wraps made with natural ingredients.
  • From with the unique rib of Vaca with Jack Daniel’s, or the octopus empanada with beer dough
  • The Big Hammock and their Caribbean Colombian arepas.
  • My plate and its meatballs with exotic sauces, or the delicious tajin with couscous)

All of them will share a poster with the Viña Albali wine set, a brand belonging to the outstanding Félix Solís winery, who acts as the protagonist and sponsor of the event.
