Seborrheic dermatitis – what is the treatment like?

Particular intensification of seborrhea and related lesions is found in the so-called seborrheic gutters (sternum area, face, hairy head, over- and inter-scapular area).

In this type of inflammation, there are persistent inflammatory-follicular-exudative changes, sometimes inflammatory-exfoliating, located in seborrheic gutters, sometimes occupying larger surfaces.

Infants may develop the so-called erythroderma (entire skin inflammation) with diarrhea and secondary skin infections.

Treatment is difficult, requires a visit to an experienced dermatologist.
