SEBIL GLANDS

Acne manifests itself in the formation of retention acne, or comedones, and inflammatory acne, in other words, acne. In patients with juvenile acne, these two types of acne usually appear together.

FROM KERATINIZATION DISTURBANCES…

Excessive formation of horny cells located at the outlet of the sebaceous gland canal (pore) leads to its blockage and the formation of a comedone. This prevents the secretion of sebum, which thus becomes a food source for certain bacteria (P.acnes). In addition, an oxygen-deprived environment favors their development.

Then, as a result of the production of pro-inflammatory cellular mediators, inflammation develops, which increases due to the oxidation of sebum lipids. Pimples (papules, pustules) appear, and in more serious cases, nodules and cysts.
