“Scissors” is the technique of the exercise:

  1. Lie on your back, press your lower back to the floor. Arms stretched to the sides of the torso, palms pressed to the floor. Tip: the hands are stationary during the entire exercise.
  2. Slightly bent knees, raise your legs 15cm off the floor. This will be your initial position.
  3. Now lift your left leg at 45°, and right down to a distance of 5-8 cm from the floor.
  4. Reverse the movement, lowering left and raising right leg.
  5. Complete the required number of repetitions.

Variations: to complicate the exercises use weights.
