Scientists say that daily immersion in social networks gives inconsolable results. Most people cannot form memories of the events they would like to remember.
Experts conducted an experiment and proved that the fascination with modern devices leads to the fact that a person cannot independently remember important and vivid moments from his own life. This is stated in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.[1].
In addition, a study was conducted in which two groups of people were offered a tour of the church. The first group was asked to write down everything they saw around them, the second was asked to take pictures of the church. After 7 days, both the first and second groups were given a test, which consisted of 10 questions about what they saw in the church. The note takers were able to correctly answer 7-10 questions. Those people who photographed the church could not give more than 6 correct answers.
Accordingly, the absence of photographs can sometimes be useful. If a person wants to keep the bright moments of life in his head, and not on a fashionable gadget, he should think about it.
