According to research by English scientists, Angelina Jolie’s lips are no longer held in high esteem by men. Their new ideal is Emily Ratajkowski.
From time immemorial, full lips were considered the standard of beauty and sexuality. To achieve the ideal, cosmetology has come up with a lot of tricks: from fillers to gloss with pepper and mint oil. But as soon as the dream of all women turned out to be so easily attainable, it turned out that men were attracted by completely different forms …
Dr. Tijin Esho, an esthetician from London, together with colleagues conducted a study among men and brought out the ideal shape of sexy lips. Girls, get ready! ..
The upper lip should be equal to the lower lip in fullness, and the corners of the mouth should be half of the lower lip at its widest part.
On the upper lip there should be a hollow, which is called “Cupid’s onion”, and soft, not too pronounced. Men like it twice as much as a sharply defined one.
To calculate this formula, Tigin Esho first offered men of different ages and social status to choose from two photographs of their entire faces, and then separately photographs of two different lip shapes. The respondents had to note which of the options, in their opinion, looks more attractive and sexy. The men were asked to justify their choice and note the merits and demerits of each photograph. On the basis of all the answers, Esho formed a “sketch”: a computer model of lips that meet all aesthetic requirements.
Now let’s see which of the world’s recognized beauties can boast of perfect lips. Not Jolie at all, as previously thought. Dr. Esho cites Emily Ratajkowski and Michelle Keegan as examples of the perfect fit of the calculated proportions. And the lips of Angelina, about which millions of girls dream and in every way are trying to achieve the ideal, men described as “too much.”
By the way, Tijin Esho is not the first or the last scientist who tries to calculate the ideal proportions of this or that part of our body. Even the ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras asked this question. It was he who introduced the concept of the “golden section”. This is a proportional division of a segment into unequal parts, in which the smaller segment relates to the larger one as much as the larger one to everything. His follower Leonardo Da Vinci applied this formula to the human body and came to the conclusion that the length of the mouth should ideally be 1,618 times the width of the nose, the front tooth should be 1,618 wider than the next, and in general, the ratios of 1: 3 and 1: 2 are perceived beautifully and harmoniously. …
