The researchers found that the more intense bleeding was related to age, and was also associated with other side effects of the vaccine – fever and fatigue. Scientists also point out that such changes in menstruation do not generally affect fertility.

If changes in the menstrual cycle occur after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, it is probably not dangerous, however, as the authors of the study emphasize, any such changes are the basis for a visit to the doctor.
