Sciatica is a disease, or rather a syndrome, that affects the spine. Pain occurs in the lower spine and is generated by compression of the sciatic nerve. An attack of sciatica is characterized by very severe, stabbing pain that can determine numbness in other parts of the spine. This disease is recurrent and may appear when you least expect it. Sciatica – causes

Sciatica is a consequence of changes resulting from the degeneration of intervertebral discs. They are designed to absorb shocks and injuries to which the spine is exposed every day. However, to attacks sciatica it can also occur when we suffer from discopathy or curvature of the spine. Sciatica – symptoms

A very characteristic pain that appears in the lower part of the spine and radiates to the buttock, lower leg, and sometimes the foot is the main symptom of an attack sciatica. Often patients complain of difficulties in moving or cannot assume an upright position. Pain lasts from a few days to even several weeks and may only be felt on one side of the body. Sciatica – exercise 1

We lie on our back and bring our feet to the buttocks. The legs should now be bent at the knees. Place your left foot on your right knee, place both hands under your right knee and pull your thigh to your chest. Exercise it should last about 30 seconds, then relax and switch sides. During exercises you feel a strong stretching of the thigh muscles. Exercise we repeat twice for both legs.

We get up from the mat and assume a propped kneeling position. While inhaling, we raise our head and lower it one by one with the exhalation. Then we exhale and push the middle section of the spine up, making the so-called cat’s back. At the same time, we hide our head between our shoulders. While inhaling, we lower the spine. We repeat exercise 10 times.
