Scalp peeling: folk recipes. Video
Hair peeling is a method that helps to remove dead skin cells, activate blood circulation, increase tone and improve the nutrition of skin cells. This treatment leaves your hair looking healthy, shiny and silky.
First, for a homemade skin exfoliator, apply to damp hair and rub gently into your scalp to prevent tangles. On average, you need to keep the scrub on your hair for 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off with plenty of water and shampoo.
Secondly, apply a peeling for the scalp before washing your hair, but not after this procedure. Homemade scrubs have a good effect on oily hair, effectively removing the remnants of styling products, normalizing the work of the sebaceous glands and getting rid of excess oiliness.
Third, remember that exfoliation is not a daily skin and hair care routine. Do it once a week if you have oily hair, and once every two weeks if you have dry and dyed hair.
Fourth, after exfoliation, do not expose your hair to sudden changes in temperature, do not dry it with a hairdryer, and do not use a curling iron.
Fifth, combine hair exfoliation with the regular use of nourishing masks.
In addition, peeling is contraindicated for damaged or very sensitive skin.
Salt peeling is very popular in home cosmetology. You can just gently rub the salt into the roots of your hair, or you can make a scrub. To do this, mix 2 tablespoons of salt or sea salt, 2 tablespoons of warm water and 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil. You can mix salt not with water, but with conditioner balm in a ratio of 1: 3. Essential oils of tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary help to get rid of dandruff, and oils of cedar, bergamot and lemon are suitable in the fight against excessive oily hair.
If you have oily hair, prepare an egg peel.
To do this, take:
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ lemon juice
- 2-3 drops of lavender or ylang-ylang essential oil
Mix all the ingredients and rub the resulting mass into the scalp with gentle massage movements.
Be careful when using this remedy, as lemon juice can provoke an allergic reaction.
An excellent scalp exfoliation can be done by combining equal proportions of salt and blue cosmetic clay and diluting the resulting mixture with a little water until a mushy consistency is obtained.
For brunettes, the following peeling recipe is suitable: Mix 1 tablespoon of shampoo with the same amount of ground coffee and gently massage the head with the resulting mixture for 3-5 minutes. Finish by rinsing your hair with an herbal tea, such as nettle leaves or St. John’s wort.
