Sausage dishes: video recipe

In 2 servings: 4 sausages, 8 pitted olives, 3-4 slices of toast cheese, 8 slices of baguette.

Cooking time: 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the sausages lengthwise into two parts, the cheese into strips the width of a sausage. On each sausage cut, put one or two strips of cheese, roll it up with a roll, insert an olive in the middle and fasten it with a toothpick so that it does not unfold. We put our “snails” on slices of baguette and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve with mustard or tomato sauce.

In 2 servings: 6 mini sausages (or 3 regular), 6 slices of toast bread, 30 g grated cheese, 1 tbsp. l. tomato sauce.

Cooking time: 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut off the crusts from the bread. Roll out each slice with a rolling pin and sprinkle with grated cheese. We wrap each mini-sausage (or half of an ordinary one) in bread so that the ends remain free. We fasten it with toothpicks so that they do not turn around. We put the sausages on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 10 minutes. When serving, drip a little tomato sauce on each “finger”. On top you can put “nails” – pieces of cheese or sweet green pepper.

BTW! If there is a choice, then we take the largest pieces of bread, since it is advisable to wrap the sausage with an overlap.

Breakfast for all occasions

In 2 servings: 4 Viennese (long) sausages, 3 eggs, 1 tbsp. l. sour cream, butter for frying, salt, pepper – to taste.

Cooking time: 10 minutes.

We cut each sausage lengthwise into two parts, but not completely, so that about 1,5 cm of the whole sausage remains. We take the halves of the sausages to the sides and fasten the ends with a toothpick. We have got “hearts”. Beat eggs with sour cream, season with salt and pepper. We put the “hearts” in a frying pan preheated with oil (it should be flat, like a pancake). A minute later, when the sausages begin to fry, pour half the egg mixture into the middle of the “hearts”. To make it grab faster, mix it slightly and top up the rest. Cover the pan with a lid and leave for 3-4 minutes over low heat or until the eggs are baked. With the help of a spatula, we transfer our “hearts” to the plates. You can draw an arrow and blood droplets with tomato sauce.

CHECKED! After the scrambled eggs are ready, we leave them alone for a couple of minutes – after that they can be easily removed even from a frying pan without a non-stick coating.

It even looks very appetizing

For 10 kebabs: 80 g of pasta “bows” (farfale), 5 sausages, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste, 0,5 tsp. honey (or 1 tsp sugar), a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. mixtures of Provencal herbs (or a pinch of dried basil, oregano, marjoram, rosemary).

Cooking time: 30 minutes.

Boil the pasta, drain the water, rinse it with cold water. We cut the sausages into circles. We string sausages and bows alternately on small wooden skewers. Heat vegetable oil in a wide frying pan. Put the pasta, honey (sugar), salt and spicy dried herbs. Pour in some water and mix everything. Put skewers in the sauce. Close with a lid and leave for 2-3 minutes, then turn over and leave for another 1-2 minutes. We serve hot, but even cold such kebabs are very tasty.

BTW! The cooking time for kebabs can be at least halved if you boil the pasta in advance.

IDEA! Instead of tomato paste, take 0,5 cups of tomato juice.
