Juicy and aromatic sausages are delicious in themselves, especially with a suitable side dish. Sausages are boiled, fried, stewed, and they are also part of many dishes, some of them are considered classic in various cuisines of the world. Italian cuisine is especially rich in such dishes.

Italian roast chicken, sausages and potatoes

Chicken with potatoes is a familiar dish, but if you add sausages to it, you get a fragrant tasty Italian roast. Take: – 3 large starchy potatoes; – 500 g of chicken breasts with skin and bones; – 500 g of chicken sausages in a natural casing (you can take pork sausages); – 6-7 sprigs of rosemary;

– zest from 1 lemon; – 1 teaspoon of finely ground salt; – ground pepper; 1/4 cup olive oil

Preheat oven to 220 ° C. Rinse the potatoes, peel and cut into large cubes. Wash the chicken under running water, pat dry with kitchen paper towels and chop into large pieces. Brush a baking dish with olive oil. Mix potatoes and chicken, lay out the sausages. Place 4 sprigs of rosemary between the food, remove the leaves from the remaining sprigs and sprinkle the food on them.

Season with salt, pepper, olive oil and place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, until the crust is browned on the chicken and the potatoes soften. Let cool slightly and serve. It is delicious to eat such a dish with slices of fresh bread.

Children like this dish very much, because it has everything that most of them like: sausages and pasta. You will need: – 4 teaspoons of olive oil; – 1 head of white onion; – 1 head of red salad onions; – 1 medium zucchini zucchini; – 500 g of sausages; – 100 g tomato sauce; – ¼ cups of red wine; – 100 g dry paste (penne or rigatoni).

Peel and cut both onions into half rings, cut the zucchini into large cubes. Preheat oven to 220 ° C. Place vegetables on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake for 7-10 minutes. Place in a bowl and let cool. Bring 2 liters of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente, following the instructions on the package.

Drain the finished pasta and season with 2 teaspoons of olive oil, stir. Puree cooled vegetables with a blender. Heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Cut the sausages into thick slices and place in the pan, lightly fry and add the vegetable puree and red wine. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the wine evaporates, add the tomato sauce and cook uncovered for about 20 minutes. Add the paste, mix and heat for a few minutes.

Sausages made from natural minced meat in the same natural casing are suitable for Italian dishes.

Another Italian dish is fritatta omelette. You will need: – 6 chicken eggs; – 1 tablespoon of fat sour cream; – 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh parsley; – 1/2 cup feta cheese, diced – salt and pepper to taste; – 2 tablespoons of olive oil; – 300 g of sausages; – 1 clove of garlic, minced.

Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Whisk eggs and sour cream together in a small bowl and season with parsley. Add feta, salt and pepper. Cut the sausages into slices and fry on both sides in a skillet in hot oil. You should not fry the sausages too much, a light crust is enough. Add garlic and saute until golden. Pour in the egg mixture and cook for about 5 minutes. Place the skillet in the oven and cook for about 5 more minutes, until the omelet is fluffy and golden brown.
