Production features
Santo Stefano can hardly be called champagne in the full sense of the word. Sparkling wines are made from grape juice made from fresh berries. Gas bubbles are formed during the natural fermentation of wine. Santo Stefano is made from wine material – a product of the primary processing of grapes.
Raw materials undergo equalization – the process of obtaining a batch that is homogeneous in terms of properties and composition. Blends are made depending on the variety. The semi-finished product is passed through filters and the components provided for in the recipe are added – flavors and preservatives. Finally, the drink is saturated with carbon dioxide, bottled and corked.
The quality of finished products is checked by an accredited testing laboratory of the enterprise, which employs certified experts. Santo Stefano Champagne is labeled as a carbonated wine drink. The shelf life of products is limited to two years, the volume of bottles is 0,75 liters.
