Santa Claus in search of himself

Summing up, making plans and making wishes – this is how we usually imagine the calendar transition, which for us adults comes faster every year. The past of our country is unpredictable, the future is vague, and only the present is at least partially in our hands.

How can we please ourselves right now, what can we spend precious holidays on? Favorite activities, communication, caring for others and expressing gratitude – the list of techniques for increasing subjective well-being is known.

There is something to do: a lot of good books and films have come out, decorating a Christmas tree and preparing treats is also nice. At the same time, there is a reason to chat with loved ones: discuss gifts, go on a trip, read to children, glue garlands with them and cut snowflakes. Or play: snowball fights and Monopoly, lotto and Scrabble, charades and live pictures.

We at Psychologies offer you our game. Imagine that Santa Claus came to see a psychoanalyst. What torments such a client the most? “Sometimes I don’t read letters.” What will the analyst ask him? “And when did you stop believing in yourself?” If the conversation gets sidetracked, the psychoanalyst will remind you, “We’re not here to discuss what I want for Christmas. We find out what you would like for Christmas. What dialogue do you hear when you look at this picture? Send us1 their signature options by December 25th. We will publish the best of them on our pages in social networks, and the author will receive a gift.

Happy New Year!
