Press Release
In-kind support will be donated to the most needy medical institutions. In total, 500 modern, precise, electronic BabyTemp Sanity thermometers for non-contact body temperature measurement will be handed over to hospitals. The first delivery to hospitals will be carried out this week.
Sanity is a brand that has been caring for the health of Poles for 25 years, providing pharmacies with devices for medical self-diagnosis at home – thermometers, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, inhalers. The brand’s offer also includes non-contact thermometers, which are currently the basic tool for health assessment.
At the moment of facing such a huge challenge as the coronavirus and the need for its quick diagnosis, in the sense of responsibility and solidarity, we decided to donate a large batch of these devices to the charity “to the front line”, where they will best serve potentially sick patients.
We are aware that now each of us can become a possible infected person from a healthy person, so this donation is a support for all of us. We put diagnostics higher than our profit, also in the interest of our employees and their families – says Adrian Słupski, General Director of Albert Polska, which owns the Sanity brand.
Assistance in the form of handing over devices that are currently missing from the Polish health service will be directed to places where support is crucial. BabyTemp Sanity non-contact thermometers will go to infectious diseases hospitals and other hospitals. The details of their separation will be dealt with by the Ministry of Health, with which the Sanity brand signed a transfer agreement in early April
On behalf of the Sanity brand, I would like to express my admiration and thank everyone who is fighting for the safety and health of patients, often putting themselves and their families at risk. As a company from the pharmaceutical industry, we cooperate with pharmacies on a daily basis, our representatives are in constant contact with pharmacists and take care of the continuity of supplies. In this very difficult time, all our employees are doing their best to support all heroes in the daily fight against the coronavirus – adds Adrian Słupski.
