Rodilla and Kukuxumusu collaborate in the campaign of the Fight Against AIDS Foundation

The two Spanish companies have created a t-shirt and a solidarity sandwich as part of the campaign to help fight the disease that marked a decade back in the 80’s and that still continues to wreak havoc in certain population centers and especially in countries underdeveloped. 

Rodilla, an informal, artisan, healthy and quality restaurant chain born in 1939, and Kukuxumusu, brand recognized for bringing its humor and creativity to all kinds of products and initiatives, join for the first time in a joint collaboration project to support the campaign “Help us erase their footprint”From the Fight Against AIDS Foundation.

The work we do at the Foundation is very diverse, from caring for people affected by HIV, continuing research on this disease and promoting its knowledge among different professionals, as well as in society in general.

Inform the Dr. Bonaventura Clotet, creator and president of the Fight Against AIDS Foundation and head of the HIV unit of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona, ​​Barcelona, ​​where the Foundation was born.

Help us erase their footprint

With this slogan, the new campaign of the Foundation for this year is committed to the collaboration of all to time to eradicate this sickness. And so have the two leading Spanish companies in their sectors. In the case of Knee, in addition to a financial contribution in collaboration with the Foundation, the company will launch a solidarity sandwich in the more than 100 restaurants that the brand owns in Spain, and all employees will wear a designed t-shirt exclusively by the firm Kukuxumusu for Knee to reflect the strong commitment of the Spanish brand in the fight against the disease.

This shirt will be on sale in all the restaurants of the brand so that consumers can collaborate in the initiative.

Pedro Balboa, Head of Communication at Kukuxumusu, recognizes the privilege of being able to contribute the creativity of the brand to an initiative like this and explains the meaning of the drawing of the shirt:

We wanted it to be a very aesthetic drawing and to graphically capture the efforts of many people in the fight against AIDS, hence we opted for a school of fish –small red ribbons- that, united and forming another large ribbon, chase the big fish of the illness. A visual metaphor for how we understand the fight against AIDS should be“.

For its part, Angel Fernandez, Director of Business Development and Marketing at Grupo Rodilla, notes:

At Rodilla we stand in solidarity with those affected by this disease and we want to do our bit to help the Foundation in its fight against HIV. In addition, we want to give our consumers the opportunity to be the ones who have the opportunity to collaborate ”. 

Likewise, Rodilla wanted to extend his collaboration and the day November 5th will give up the space of its Rodilla Lounge in Puerta de Sol to host the Knee Conver AIDS, a discussion forum (as part of his famous Rodilla Conversa) on the news in HIV in which he will participate, among other speakers, Belén Rueda.

In fact, the Spanish actress is godmother of the 7ª Gala SIDA organized by the Foundation and that will be held on the day November 21th at 20:30 p.m. in the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles.

This ceremony, whose main objective is to raise funds to finance research projects focused on ending HIV through the vaccine and other eradication strategies, will be led by the singer Miguel Bosé and will be presented by the writer and presenter Boris Izaguirre.
