The gastronomy event, San Sebastian Gastronomika 2017 It comes with a new edition loaded with good culinary taste and numerous activities that once again place it at the top of the national and international educational scene.
We will be able to see numerous cooking workshops, competitions, tastings and master classes by the best “chefs” of the moment in a gastronomic contest that will take place at the Kursaal Conference Center in the capital of San Sebastian.
From October 8 to 11, the event organized by the Diario Vasco and sponsored by various government entities of the Basque autonomous community, will feature a wide and diverse program of activities aimed at knowing, enjoying and tasting the most colorful and avant-garde culinary creations in the different modules into which the sample is divided.
As in previous editions of the congress, it is a congress of High Gastronomy, which brings together thousands of lovers and professionals of the restoration and brings together dozens of Michelin stars in its acts.

There will also be a space for teenagers with an interesting master class by the hand of Ramón Roteta, Ander González and Ivan Surinder where they will try to teach the youngest to eat in a fun and healthy way.
What can we see at San Sebastian Gastronomika 2017?
- Intimate and Private Kitchenss
Very intimate exhibitions and workshops that will take place with small groups and that will allow you to work side by side with some of the best chefs of the moment. What Andreu Genestra, Fran López and Pedro Subijana. In the case of the Private, 40 chosen will be able to share a poster with Nandu Jubany, Miquel Brossa and Francis Paniego.
- Product workshops
From the hand of our neighboring chefs from the Atlantic, you will learn more about the special preparation of the Portuguese culinary tradition, its delicious petiscos or Portuguese tapas, and the art of the snoring of Mediterranean bluefin tuna.
- The best Pairings
They will come from the hand of S.Pellegrino or San Miguel where the union of water or beer with different foods will delight us with one of the most exotic showcooking of the gastronomic event.
- Wine Sessions
The best training in the field of oenology will come from the hand of Issa Bal, recognized as the best sommelier in Europe in 2008, and for Josep Roca, which will delve into the field of liquors, spirits or oils.
Torres, Chivite or DO Ribera del Duero or DOCava, will present us with authentic jewels from their wineries.

As el Wine&Win, as a couple in a wine or champagne tasting “La Flèche d’Or” will be those destined for drinks.
In the culinary field and at a high temperature, the National Grill Contest will be held where the best meat and the best barbecue will come out on those days of deliberations and tastings
Among other acts of the event will be held the premiere of the documentary “The corner experiencie ” where we will get to know more closely those exciting places that are the gastronomic societies of the Basque Country,
