Steam cooking allows not only to bring food to the desired condition, preserving all the nutrients and vitamins as much as possible, but also to do without oil and fat. Dishes cooked in a double boiler will be dietary, and your task is to make them tasty as well.

Salmon steaks with rice

To prepare this hearty, tasty and healthy dish, you will need: – 2 salmon steaks; – ½ tbsp. l. soy sauce; – ½ tsp lemon juice; – 1 tsp. olive oil; – 1 glass of rice.

If purchased ready-made, quickly rinse them in cold water and pat dry with paper kitchen towels. So that when cooking in a double boiler they are not too bland, it is better to pre-marinate them. Make a marinade by mixing soy sauce, lemon juice and olive oil. Spread the marinade over the fish and place in a bowl for 15-20 minutes.

Place the steaks in the containers of the steamer. Rinse the rice and put it in a special compartment for boiling cereals. Add water to rice in a 1: 1 ratio, that is 200 g. Set the steam oven timer to 25 minutes. After this time, the fish will be ready and can be removed. To cook the rice, cook it for another 15 minutes.

Serve salmon with rice with chopped fresh vegetables, herbs, lettuce on plates.

If you are cooking white polished rice, you do not need to rinse it before cooking, as it is washed repeatedly in the factory environment.

Salmon with vegetables in a double boiler

For this delicious dish you will need: – 2 salmon steaks; – ½ tbsp. l. soy sauce; – 3-4 inflorescences of broccoli; – 3-4 inflorescences of cauliflower; – 1 bell pepper; – 2 small tomatoes; – fresh herbs; – 2-3 feathers of green onions; – 1 tsp. lemon juice; – 2 tsp olive oil; – 1 tsp. light honey; – salt on the tip of the knife.

Rinse and dry the salmon, pour over soy sauce, leave to stand for 15–20 minutes. Prepare your vegetables. Disassemble the cauliflower and broccoli into inflorescences, cut the bell pepper in half, remove the core and seeds. Cut the tomatoes into several slices. Place salmon and vegetables on steamer containers, set a timer for 25 minutes.

It will turn out very tasty if you use pesto sauce with basil and pine nuts to coat the fish

Put the vegetables out of the steamer. Carefully remove the skin from the tomato. Cut all vegetables into small pieces, put them in a small bowl and add a little salt. To make it tasty, use a dressing: Combine honey, lemon juice and olive oil in a separate cup and beat this mixture well with a fork until smooth. Pour the dressing over the vegetables, add finely chopped fresh herbs and finely chopped green onions, mix well. Put the steaks on the plates, put the vegetables next to it. The fish can be drizzled lightly with lemon juice.
