Russian Standard is a premium brand owned by Roust Group, the second largest vodka producer in the world and the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. The products are produced at a plant located in St. Petersburg with a capacity of 3,5 million deciliters per year, more than $60 million has been invested in the construction and equipment of which. Distribution is carried out by Russian Standard Vodka. The holding’s assets also include its own alcohol production in the Republic of Tatarstan. The company’s share in the Russian premium vodka market is 40%. The brand is represented in 82 countries and is available at more than 950 international airports.

Historical reference. The Russian Standard Vodka company was established in 1998, and the high-tech plant began its work eight years later. After acquiring and launching a distillery in Buinsk, Rustam Tariko, the creator of the Russian Standard empire, completed the creation of a vertically integrated process, which allowed him to establish full control over all stages of production – from growing wheat to the final product. Thanks to bright advertising campaigns, the image of vodka as a truly national brand has been formed in the minds of the consumer.

Despite its youth, Russian Standard became the first Russian brand to achieve a significant presence in the global market. In 2016, sales of vodka under the Russian Standard brand increased to 3,3 million cases, which allowed the company to take the 15th position in the list of the largest market participants.

The annual TOP-100 rating, compiled by the specialized publication International Wine & Spirit Research, also recorded the strengthening of the position of “Russian vodka No. 1” in the duty-free segment. The company considers the duty free channel as one of the promising growth areas and plans new large-scale advertising campaigns at international airports in 2018. Today, the brand’s products can be bought on board the airlines Air India, Airberlin, Flybe.

Rust Holding has its own production facilities and distribution centers in Russia, Hungary, Italy, and Poland. The assortment portfolio includes, in addition to the flagship brand Russian Standard, vodkas Zelenaya Marka, Parliament, Zhuravli, as well as Polish vodkas Soplica and Zubrowka.

Russian Standard Original, 40%

The first vodka in the brand line, produced since 1998. Just two years after its introduction, the product outstripped the popularity of most imported premium vodkas on the Russian market, and then replicated its success outside the country. The recipe is based on the Russian imperial standard for the production of vodka, approved in 1894. The shape of the bottle is stylized as the outline of the Tsar Bell, which is evidence of the continuity of traditions. For the most complete disclosure of the character of the drink, the manufacturer recommends drinking it in its pure form or using it as the basis for a Russian Mule cocktail.

Russian Standard Gold, 40%

This drink was inspired by an old recipe for Siberian vodka, approved by Peter the Great. The product contains ginseng extract – Siberians have traditionally used it to relieve fatigue and increase stamina during long hikes and hunting. The design of the bottle with embossed openwork knitting develops the central idea of ​​Russian Standard Gold contained in the slogan “For the golden moments of life”, enhances the brand’s premium image and gives consumers the opportunity to appreciate the original and memorable taste of the drink.

The recipe of this classic vodka does not contain anything superfluous: only water of glacial origin and aged grain alcohol of the “Lux” variety. Vodka is cleaned with quartz sand and additionally passes through filters impregnated with silver, which allows achieving crystal clearness and maximum purity of taste. The drink features an invigorating and natural aroma with a slight hint of citrus. The elongated shape of the bottle is designed to increase the visibility of the product on store shelves, to emphasize its premium image. It is recommended to serve chilled or with ice.

Russian Standard Imperia, 40%

Super premium vodka, the pearl of the brand’s collection. Produced from hand-selected winter wheat from the steppes of the Russian Chernozem region, distilled eight times, mixed with soft glacial water and filtered twice with charged Ural quartz crystals. Post-bathing rest lasts at least 72 hours. The design of the faceted bottle, which looks like an old crystal damask, can be described as “real imperial luxury”. To match the packaging and the taste of crystal clear vodka, memorable for its silkiness, delicate texture, delicate aroma of herbs.
