Historical information
The Chelyabinsk plant “Ariant” became the first enterprise for the production of sparkling wines in the region. It was built in 1995 and during the first years it worked on wine materials supplied by Russian and foreign agricultural firms. But the management understood that high quality products cannot be achieved without their own raw material base.
In 2001, the holding acquired seven agricultural enterprises in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory. Agricultural firms were on the verge of bankruptcy due to numerous intermediaries who took away products by barter. As a result, the enterprises simply did not have the money to upgrade the production base. “Ariant” provided farms with the necessary working capital and seriously took up the expansion and rejuvenation of vineyards.
Already in the first year of work, 2,5 hectares of land were developed. The company purchased about a million seedlings from farmers in France and Spain. Selection work was established, new equipment of Italian and German production was purchased. Ariant invested $25 million in the restructuring of the grape processing plant of Yuzhnaya agricultural firm. Over time, the company has become one of the leading suppliers of wine materials in Russia.
Dry wines are supplied to the Chelyabinsk factory directly from Taman. The development of recipes was carried out with the involvement of Western experts – blends were made by French oenologists under the leadership of Jean Bare. The company produces champagne by tank method, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Champagne “Russian Gold” belongs to the category of wine drinks popular among young people. In the manufacture of used wine materials from white and red grapes, which are diluted with softened water to a strength of 6%. Then the low-alcohol wine is saturated with carbon dioxide and bottled.
