Historical reference. Labeled Cristal Gross. This group of companies was formed around the leader, Region-EM, in 1993. At that time, the structure included a production complex, a transport, consulting, auditing company, there was a bank, a recruitment agency, a production complex, and distribution divisions.

In the case of the holding there were several brands of vodka and tinctures well-known even outside of Russia: in addition to Russian Diamond, Slavyanskaya vodka, Gostiny Dvor, Staraya Melnitsa. At the enterprises of the holding, under license, they produced “Ambassatory”, “Golden Ring”, “Wheat”, “Zubrovka”, “Hunting”. But it was the quality of the “Russian Diamond” that became a happy Kremlin ticket for Cristal Gross. Since 2007, Cristal Gross has become the official supplier of alcohol to the Kremlin.

But then the crisis came, Crystal Gross initially placed bonds worth a billion rubles, valid until 2010, and then, in the fall of 2008, the partners decided to divide the business. Region EM remains the owner of the Russian Diamond trademark and the absolute majority of the brands of the former holding. Only the right to produce them was first obtained by Gross Alcoholic Plants JSC, then by Slavyanskaya Collection LLC, and now the main Crystal Gross vodka brands are produced by Jupiter Incorporated in Ulyanovsk. The company is owned by the Jupiter company, the head of the board of directors of which is the former head of Gross Alcoholic Plants Renat Khuzin. He owns a 55% stake in Jupiter.
