Rules of the game of checkers for beginner children, chapaeva kings, fook
Checkers is one of the best board games, not inferior in popularity to backgammon or chess. Moreover, you can spend time with this entertainment with kids, starting from the age of 2-3 years. After all, the rules of the game of checkers for beginners are simple and clear.
How to play checkers with children
The game of checkers has a great effect on the development of the baby. Indeed, for such competitions, the perseverance and logical thinking of the child improves. Therefore, child psychologists recommend introducing children to this board game starting from the age of 2-3 years.
The main goal of the game is to “take” all the opponent’s checkers. Rules:
- Chips of the opposite color are placed in three horizontal rows on opposite sides of the game board. Place checkers on black squares.
- The moves are carried out by the opponents one cell at a time, and the player with the white chips is the first to move his checker.
- The shapes move along horizontal black boxes.
- If there is an empty cell behind the opponent’s checker, then the player must “take” it. To do this, he moves the piece to an empty square, and the “beaten” checker is removed from the board.
- An unlimited number of pieces are beaten in one move.
- If the player did not notice that he can take the opponent’s checker, then his counter is taken “for the fook”.
- A piece that reaches the opposite side of the board becomes a king. This piece moves along the entire length of the row.
- The chip can “beat” both in the forward and in the opposite direction.
The player who takes all the opponent’s pieces wins. If only the kings remain on the board, then it is allowed to make no more than 15 moves, after which the winner is determined or a “draw” of the game is appointed.
This type of checkers game improves the baby’s fine motor skills and eyes. It resembles billiards, but the chips are knocked out here with a dexterous snap of your fingers. Rules of the game:
- Place chips of the opposite color in two rows opposite each other.
- Hit the opponent’s checkers one by one with a snap of your finger. At the same time, try to keep your chip on the board.
- The move passes to the other player if the opponent’s piece remains on the board, or if its own checker fell with it.
The winner is the one who knocks all the opponent’s checkers off the board. To make the game more interesting, build complex structures.
Teaching a child to play checkers is not so difficult. The main thing is to be patient and explain the rules to him. And then he will love this game and become a worthy rival.
