The exercise took me three weeks. In the first week, I performed exercises aimed only at the physical body (See Complex of exercises to improve posture). In the mornings, I practiced the “Cat” exercise, probably known to many, stretching and strength exercises. I appointed a controller who clearly understood his duties, and constantly repeated: “Posture, posture, posture …” At the table, during cleaning, during hasty gathering for work: “Posture, posture, posture …” There was a feeling of perseverance and confidence — I will do it !
In the second week, in addition to physical exercises, I connected the “Inner King”. The Inner King exercise for me was like saying the inner text: “How beautiful is my kingdom! And how magnificent are my subordinates.” The exercises were performed, the effect was visible — the back straightened, but muscle tension remained, which did not allow maintaining the state for a long time.
And suddenly — the case!
It happened on one of the fine autumn days, when the sun shone playfully, the blue sky opened its arms, yellow leaves strewn all the paths and sidewalks.
I get off the subway, my face glows — welcoming the sun.
Towards a stranger who looks for a long time, looks around, comes up and looking into his eyes says: «Charming.»
And then the wings of a butterfly behind his back, a soft smile on his face, the back straightened by itself, the tension in the muscles was gone. Here it is, that feeling — I caught it !! The wings are soft, velvety, elastic, orange with a blue border … almost like a butterfly’s «peacock eye». The most important thing is that I caught the feeling, remembered it.
Now I connect this image almost always. The technique is working. The back is straight, Wings behind the back, a slight smile on the face.
This technique helps not only to correct your posture, but also sets you up for positive, allows you to control your mood. I often flutter wings — this is a childish joy, I flutter measuredly — concentration, sometimes coquetry, I collect wings together — this is a calm presence. And most importantly — in all cases, the back remains straight and there is no muscle tension.
You just need to find the image and enter it. This gives a magnificent effect — the ability to enter the desired state, to reflect the necessary character trait, to influence human physics. And everyone can have their own image, it can be the image of a knight, a princess, or someone else who is closer to you.
