Rowatinex is a drug designed to gently relax the urinary tract in order to facilitate the elimination of kidney stone deposits. By inhibiting the metabolism of arachidonic acid and the production of cytokines, it also acts as an analgesic.

Rowatinex – properties

The composition of Rowatinex was developed to help in the case of finding small deposits of kidney stones, i.e. kidney sand. It facilitates the breakdown of the existing ones, as well as has a preventive effect on the formation of new ones – it does this by expanding the tubular vessels, which should prevent ischemic degeneration, which can disturb the colloidal balance and lead to the formation of stones. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties against many strains of bacteria that cause urinary tract infections – especially gram-positive and gram-negative. It reduces the strength and frequency of smooth muscle contractions, thus reducing pain in the renal and ureteral colic, and increasing diuresis.

Its use is not only to support the treatment, but also to relieve the pain associated with the symptoms of these stones. It is also recommended after lithotripsy.
