Even people who lead a healthy lifestyle are constantly exposed to infections. They are associated not only with malaise, but also arrears at work or school. So how to make the disease last shorter?

In the autumn-winter and spring period, when it is cold, raining or snowing, it is much easier to catch a cold, and we also lack the sun, which is a source of vitamin D that increases immunity. In addition, there are often other reasons, independent of the season and weather, and the consequence of which is a decrease in our natural immunity – stress, overwork, lack of sufficient sleep. As a result, our body is easier to succumb to the constant attacks of viruses and bacteria. According to the data of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, between September 1, 2015 and January 31, 2016, a total of 1 reports of cases of illness or suspected influenza were recorded, which turned out to be various types of cold infections (source: gis.gov.pl) . How to help yourself in the fight against diseases? It is worth reaching for Rutinoscorbin.

A healthy combination

Rutinoscorbin is a preparation containing rutin (also called rutoside) and vitamin C. The former has been known and widely used in medicine since the nineteenth century. Its name derives from the garden rout – a plant from which leaves rutin was first prepared. Currently, it is obtained mainly from Japanese pearl and buckwheat herb. It is also found in barberry, St. John’s wort, peppermint and elderberry. Vitamin C occurs naturally in fruits and vegetables, and the most of it are: currants, red peppers, cauliflower, spinach, wild strawberries, strawberries, kiwi, lemons, oranges. Unfortunately, it does not accumulate in our body and its excess is excreted in the urine every day. This means the necessity to systematically, preferably daily, supplement it.

How it works?

Vitamin C supports the regeneration of the organism weakened by infection. If we take it at the first symptoms of the disease and during it, we will regain fitness and full immunity faster. Combining it with rutoside, which supports the action of vitamin C, inhibits its oxidation and increases absorption.

One of the most troublesome symptoms of a cold is a runny nose. It makes breathing difficult, causes headache and sinus pain. Its direct cause is dilated blood vessels in the nose. Routine that seals and strengthens them, thus facilitating the fight against a runny nose.

When an infection hits us

Many people wait until their disease develops before taking their medications. Unfortunately, in the case of a bacterial infection, this often results in the administration of an antibiotic to eliminate the infection. But at the same time, it weakens the entire body, destroys the beneficial bacterial flora in the intestines and makes us more susceptible to further attacks of viruses and bacteria. Therefore, at the very first symptoms of the disease, you should start taking vitamin C medications with the appropriate dose of vitamin C and rutoside, such as Rutinoscorbin. The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets two to four times a day.

How to recognize an impending infection? Symptoms include unexplained fatigue, a general feeling of discomfort, aches and pains in the bones, joints and muscles, chills, fever or low-grade fever, runny nose, increased discharge in the throat or nose, cough, hoarseness, itchy throat or nose, pain throat, even mild. It is best to start working when at least one of these symptoms occurs. If we do not suppress the infection in the first stage of its development, it will soon take over the entire body and will be more difficult to heal. And after the disease, it is worth continuing to take Rutinoscorbin at a dose of 1-2 tablets a day to strengthen the immune system. Thanks to this, our body will be better prepared to fight viruses and bacteria.
