Feet are what we stand on, our fulcrum. So thickening and coarsening of the skin in this area is a natural functional reaction.

Cosmetic procedures

Pedicure in the salon is aimed, among other things, at exfoliating corns, as well as nourishing and restoring the skin of the feet. The heels are polished with files with abrasive nozzles, the overgrown layers of skin are removed with the help of special blades or a cutter (during a hardware pedicure). After the procedure, the heels are generously treated with a moisturizer. During a spa manicure, they can apply a nourishing mask and put special socks on their feet.

Cosmetical tools

At home, creams that contain moisturizing and exfoliating ingredients can help keep your heels smooth.

  • Urea renews and moisturizes the skin.

  • acids promote exfoliation.

  • Oils and Vitamin E protect from drying out and restore.

  • panthenol and allantoin contribute to recovery.

Foot baths

A useful procedure during which the skin is steamed, after which it is easier to remove it with abrasives.

Foot masks

Nutritious

From home remedies we recommend natural oils, and solid ones:

  • coconut;

  • shea butter;

  • Palm.

After steaming and exfoliating, the oil is rubbed into the heels, then applied with an additional layer, and cotton socks are put on top. This mask can be done every night before going to bed, after a shower. Fatty acids help restore and soften the skin. In addition, this mask has only one ingredient, and therefore the recipe is simple and not time-consuming.

You can spice up the mask with a drop of olive, avocado or jojoba oil. Heels in the morning will be like that of the same baby.

For a more intense effect, wrap your feet after applying the oil with cling film, and then put on socks. Remove this compress after 15 minutes. Occlusive and thermal effects will accelerate the penetration of fatty acids and vitamins into the skin.

Exfoliating and moisturizing

Grind two cucumbers in a blender, mix with lemon juice and three tablespoons of olive oil. Divide the resulting composition into two parts, put each in a separate plastic bag and put these makeshift “boots” on your feet, fixing them with laces around the ankle. Wash off with cool water after 10-15 minutes.
