Roskachestvo specialists examined 24 samples and found out which ones to stay away from.
The weekend is on the way, which means we have to go to nature. Moreover, the weather is favorable. And what is a picnic without a barbecue? And then a logical question arises: marinate the meat yourself or follow the path of least resistance and buy ready-made kebabs in the store? After all, you don’t want to mess with the marinade after a working day … The specialists of Roskachestvo have taken care of the problem of the safest kebabs that can be bought in stores. And they found out what kind of meat to spend money on in any case is not worth it.
Shish kebabs of 24 Russian brands were tested.
“Among them are Every Day, Miratorg, Ostankino, Cherkizovo and other popular brands,” they say in
Each of the samples was tested for 57 indicators. The most important thing that experts have found out is that none of the brands makes barbecue from spoiled meat. The second important thing is that meat for barbecue is used really good, and not just any illiquid product with fat and veins.
Top brands:
1. 5 points – “Heat Meat”, “Miratorg”, “Ostankino”.
2. 4,95 points – Globus.
3. 4,92 points – Agrocomplex, Remit.
You can buy barbecue of these six brands completely fearlessly, it will not disappoint you. The researchers note that Globus meat was the cheapest among those participating in the examination – only 199 rubles per kilogram. And the most expensive shashlik – brand “Fresh” – scored only 3,64 points at a price of almost 700 rubles per kilo. His scores were lowered for residual traces of antibiotics in meat.
Well, now the most important thing is what kind of kebab is not worth buying.
1. “Every day”, “Ramfood” and “Your home” – unacceptable amounts of antibiotics were found in them. In addition, inconsistencies were found in the barbecue of the first two brands, indicating that the barbecue product is spoiled. “This is an excess in the number of microorganisms, inconsistencies revealed by microscopic analysis of freshness, and a negative reaction of meat to copper sulfate,” the experts explained. At the same time, at the time of marinating, the meat was fresh. This indicates that the product deteriorated during the implementation process.
2. Salmonella and Listeria were found in the “Dmitrogorsk Product” shashlik. Listeria was also found in Malakhovsky.
3. Escherichia coli bacteria were found in the barbecue “Velkom”, “Myasnov”, “Ramfood”, “Word of the Butcher” and “Cherkizovo”.
4. In the barbecue “Atyashevo”, “Blizhnye Gorki”, “Every day”, “Karusel”, “Myasnov” and “Your home”, the excess in the total number of bacteria was found. This is a sign of initial microbiological deterioration. It is impossible to find out exactly when the bacteria were brought into the kebab, when it began to deteriorate – in production or in a store. “However, this does not absolve anyone of responsibility,” they say in Roskachestvo.
