Rosehip tincture and liquor: 4 recipes at home

Many people like to brew wild rose and use it for medicinal purposes, but few people know that boiling water destroys ascorbic acid in large volumes. Even more than alcohol.

And in this regard, we suggest preparing a homemade rosehip tincture, which will definitely help strengthen the immune system and cheer you up. To do this, you can use raw, dried and, of course, dried berries. After all, they will be much more useful.

It is important to know! Rosehip gives the tincture a very faint aroma, so that the drink does not seem too bland, we will add ingredients with a pronounced aroma during the preparation process.

Homemade rosehip tincture with honey and bay leaf

Ingredients

  1. Dried rose hips – 1 cup

  2. Vodka – 4 l

  3. Honey – 0,5 Art. l

  4. Bay leaf – 4 pcs.

Method of preparation

  1. In a glass container for infusion, mix all the ingredients and leave in a dark room, for how long, you have enough patience (but not less than one month).

  2. After that, we filter the tincture, and then filter it.

  3. We bottle the drink.

  4. Before tasting, let the taste stabilize for about a week.

Rosehip tincture with pine nuts

Ingredients

  1. Rosehip dried or fresh – 15 pcs.

  2. Pine nuts – 100 g

  3. Vodka – 3 l

  4. Lemon zest – 1 tbsp. l.

  5. Oak bark – 2 tbsp. l.

  6. Juniper – 1 tbsp. l.

  7. Licorice – 5 slices (optional)

Method of preparation

  1. We mix all the ingredients with the alcohol base in a glass container of a suitable size. Let it brew for about one month in a dark room at room temperature.

  2. After the specified time, we filter the tincture, and then pass it through the filter.

  3. At this stage, the drink can be slightly sweetened with syrup and left for another week – to settle.

  4. Then we pour it into glass bottles.

  5. Rosehip tincture is ready, you can start tasting.

Fragrant tincture of wild rose on moonshine

Ingredients

  1. Dried wild rose – 10 pcs.

  2. Moonshine (40-45%) – 500 ml

  3. Orange zest – a couple of slices

  4. Natural coffee (coarse grinding) – 1/4 tsp.

  5. Sugar syrup – maximum 1 tbsp. l. (optional)

Method of preparation

  1. To begin with, the rosehip must be crushed in order to better feel its taste and aroma in the finished drink.

  2. Now we put all the ingredients (with the exception of the syrup) in a jar and fill it with good, high-quality moonshine, but you can also take not the most successful pasture. We leave for two weeks at room temperature, a dark room.

  3. After two weeks, the drink must be filtered, and then thoroughly filtered through a coffee or cotton filter.

  4. If desired, add sugar syrup to the tincture and leave for another 2-3 days to fully consolidate the taste. And filter again.

  5. We bottle the finished product and you can take a sample.

Rosehip liqueur

Ingredients

  1. Rosehip – 500 g

  2. Alcohol – 1,5 l

  3. Cinnamon – 1 piece

  4. Orange – ½ pc.

  5. Sugar syrup – 400 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the peel from the orange with a thin knife, cut into pieces. Put orange peels, rose hips and cinnamon in a jar, pour alcohol.

  2. Leave for 15 days, then drain the liquid and filter.

  3. Mix the tincture with cold sugar syrup, mix (you can strain again), pour into prepared clean and dry bottles.

  4. Let stand another week. Liquor is ready!
